Some of you may have seen the amusing little bitch session in PoK a couple of days ago. Here's the background behind it, and a recap (for those that missed it), as well as the amusing events after it.

It all started with this application (http://p196.ezboard.com/fsolusekseyefrm11.showMessage?topicID=1423.topic) posted on the VA message board.

One of the questions we ask of all applicants is basically "Have you ever applied to VA before?." As you can see, the applicant said "No", and was promptly called on it.

(Unfortunately, later events pushed Dean's original application off the the board. (Go, go, ezboard!) His original app was declined politely by Batevil, stating that the wizards were closed and that he would be welcome to check back at a later date.)

Later that night, this gem (http://p196.ezboard.com/fsolusekseyefrm11.showMessage?topicID=1426.topic) of a thread was started.

Then, a certain wizard was spotted in PoK badmouthing VA. I was busy elsewhere that night, so I wasn't able to observe it myself with my main, but I did move one of my unguilded alts on another account over to PoK to catch the tail end:

Any bets on who "Frenzy Virus" is? Sorry, I'm not taking bets on this. You'd have to be complete idiot to miss who it is. Our board admins confirmed that "Frenzy Virus" was posting from the same IP address as Dean.

There's different VAPerson(s) in Buadyen's conversation. I'm the "wha" and the "oh, I seee" :)

In case anybody cared, the IP was a DSL connection with no open ports -- or the router connected to it does SPI, and didn't want to give up the goods. *shakes first* Damn you, stateful packet inspection!

Nah, it's the same VAPerson, that's just the cross over between my confusion of "Frenzy Virus" hijacking our boards, and me checking the boards and VAPerson telling me to check them.

I thought Inks said he didn't have a character on ARo...
