I got a site that I download music from pretty often. Used to be when I found a song I wanted, I would click the link and immediately get a confirmation box asking me if I wanted to Save, Open, Cancel, etc. Now when I click on a link it just automatically opens in Windows Media Player. I know I can right-click and save that way, but I REALLY like to get the confirmation box, click Save, then locate a folder I want. I had this problem before and someone told me how to get it back to the way I want, but I can't remember how. Someone please help! Thanks. :)

Sounds like a browser setting. What browser are you using?

Using IE 6. I don't bother messing around with other browsers even if they are pretty sweet. Just use what I get with Windows.

And the site is Overclocked Remix. It's a site full of remixed game music. Pretty good stuff too. Site not the problem though. ANY site that had direct links to downloads used to give me the confirmation box. Whether it be for music or movies, I always used to get the box. Now, music or movies just open in WMP and play automatically.

The confirmation box had a check-box on it that said: Always ask before opening this type of file. I never unchecked it so I have no idea why it stopped.
