My question is why he's a villain when he does it, but we're the good guys when we do the same thing overseas.

Simple truth is ya'll will have to learn to draw a line and live by it. You can't waffle and judge all sides wanting. It's easy to sit back and make judgements calling everyone evil, but how do you make a difference in the world if you're just casting evil looks? you have to jump in get your feet wet and take a stand sometime.

Fandros, why can't people who believe the beliefs you have accept that sometimes you have to take a stand against your own leaders?

I think what you said is fair, but it should apply to both sides.

With all of the terror groups we've trained and funded over the years, that line seems pretty easy to draw.

I'm not condoning what Chavez is up to, but it seems hypocritical to condemn him for stealing a page from our own playbook.

Chavez is an asshole, the people he is giving money to are bigger assholes.
FARC is vicious, bloodthirsty, utterly corrupt, twisted and should be hunted down like dogs and shot.

They are not, however, terrorists.

They are insurgents.

"Terrorist" has become a fucking catchphrase or a buzzword. What Chavez is doing is sponsoring Marxist revolution. Nothing really new in South America.
