So after watching that Alec Baldwin commerican I decided to check out.
I was really impressed with the quality of the picture and sound.
Have any of ya'll checked it out? Might end up with ditching Directv simply due to the ease of use and quality of the picture.

yes, I catch a few shows there everyone once in a while. It's pretty decent and I love that commercial.

Yup - I've been watching Hulu and getting better quality than many of the network websites. I'm working on piecing together an older computer to hook up as a media server with my main TV.

It's supposedly pretty profitable too. Its a joint NBC / Fox venture if I'm not mistaken.

When San mentioned the Doll House episode was up, and I went to check out the BSG one, I also noticed they had the SNL Andy Samberg "Ahmanutjob" video, which had been yanked almost immediately by NBC when it first was put up.
Nice being able to watch that again and laugh my ass off, along with the "jizzed in my pants" one.

Random tip: If you have multiple displays, you can avoid Flash's annoying full screen behavior by using Hulu's "pop out" option and then maximizing that window. The video will scale to full size, without hamstringing you.

Hulu's pretty awesome. They have lots of weird random stuff like Dr. Horrible's sing-along blog, as well as all the episodes of Firefly. Best of all from what I understand what they're doing is legal (whatever that means these days), so its not going to fall apart because the MPAA and RIAA get angry with it.

Hulu seems all right, but SurfTheChannel has a bigger selection (albeit lesser quality). However I still cannot for the life of me find the early season 5 episodes of The Office, since every website seems only to have the current later ones on the NBC site, which are slowly phased out week by week.

I'm pretty sure that's because they don't want Hulu to completely cannibalize DVD sales.
