I'm in Tampa. Normally when they come in from the west they are weakened down to a tropical storm or less by the time it hits us. They are saying this biggun could still be a Cat 2 when/if it reaches us.
If there is any good thing about Hurricane Charley its that it has made people not take this one lightly. I hope this is the last one for the year. :(

Be safe you guys and gals in Fla. I may be joining yoiu soon.
While my original destination was St Pete. I am looking for something now a little less crowded. Winterhaven is one of the places on my list for transfer along with Brooksville and MacClenny. My dad is fond of Winterhaven, can you gimme a heads up on what its''s like, Grey?

Couple more fences down. My Backyard is a lake atm. Power was out for about 14 hours (well had generator for that duration). Other than that not much else here. We will see what Ivan has in store for us.

I'm in St. Pete, and to be honest, it wasn't that bad where I live. Hell, I've seen thunderstorms worse then it. Was just a lot of raining and wind gusts for a couple days. Guess we got lucky here.

Looks like Hurricane Ivan might be coming too. Not a good year for Florida at all. This isn't Ivan but it is a cool picture.
