Those movies, along with Last Man on Earth, were all based on the book I Am Legend by Richard Matheson I believe. So I guess it would make sense that they'd all be almost exactly the same? Not sure. Different interpretations?

The book was a short story I believe, I read it a few years ago. I love the post-apocalyptic genre too much.

You didn't know I am Legend was a remake? Remarkable.

Might have to check it out, I'm guessing it doesn't have the hamfisted Steven Allan Spielberg style forced happy ending that really hurt I Am Legend?

SyFy ran something called I am Omega a few nights back, supposedly based on the story. I didn't catch it though.

Omega Man's ending is bittersweet. I liked it a lot more than I Am Legend's take on the ending.

Did you see the director's cut ending of I Am Legend? Much more satisfying, and frankly a completely different movie than the theater release. Mind you, I haven't read the book or see Omega Man yet.
