They got me freaking hooked on their damn reality shows.

I can't but watch all their damn Ice Road Truckers, Deep Sea Salvage, Deadliest Catch, After the Catch, Swamp Loggers, Heli-Loggers.....

I dont know why but i just cant turn the TV off when those shows are on!!!

Deadliest Catch sure has a solid almost like groupie follwing. People who I would never suspect love that show.

I love that these are successful, they are quality edutainment programs and really helps the doc industry. Its just ashame they are scripting these more and more when their initial releases were so successful without the need to meddle.

You left of Dirty Jobs though which is a personal favorite.

I like Dirty Jobs, and will turn some of the others on when I'm working in the office. I can't just sit through any of them. Ice Road Truckers was dead boring, but maybe I caught some poor episodes. Every episode of Deadliest Catch is the same, but I do like the show. If I'm watching actively though there's usually must better stuff on tv.

So first, many of those shows you wrote Grey actually aren't on Discovery. But today I learned Ice Road Truckers was pitched to Discovery and they turned it down not thinking it would be viable, only to have History pick it up a few years later.

Love Dirty jobs and Deadliest catch. the logger shows not so much.

Cash cab is another favorite of mine. I love the blindsided contestant aspect.

An unrelated note, but why do a lot of your thread titles have words with the first two letters capitalized? ;)

i.e. I HAte, Burn NOtice, MErlin, etc.
