I just saw this last night, and it was hilarious. A lot like The Hangover, in that it was almost nonstop, unexpected funny instead of just being a trailer stretched into 90 minutes with a couple extra jokes.

This is the only book I've read in the past couple of years. Tucker Max is fucking hilarious. Keep in mind, this is based upon the real life adventures of Tucker Max, so it's not quite like the Hangover.

Read the story about Austin and Tucker does Buttsex.

It's based loosely on the Austin Roadtrip story, but the overall plot is more similar to The Hangover than you'd expect. They turned it into a bachelor party trip to the strip club (and switched from Austin to Salem, NC; wtf), lose the groom, piss off the fiance, etc.

If you've read many of the stories, there are a lot of inside jokes; like the deaf girl. I'm actually curious how funny it'll be to a crowd that isn't pre-laughing at all the inside jokes. Where we saw it, a lot of people were probably just laughing due to social proof.

They released the redband trailer today (NSFW, though I wouldn't think either of them are, really):

If you want to see this, make sure you do. It's a platformed release, so the weekly box office take makes a big difference in how well it will eventually do.

I will wait til it comes out on blu-ray. For my wife and I to go to a movie costs us at least 50 bucks in tickets and baby sitter fees. I can buy this twice on blu-ray for what it will cost to see it once in the theatre. It has to be something where seeing it in the theatre adds something to the experience for my wife and I to even consider going to a movie (that or a kids movie where we can take the kids without paying for a sitter).

I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is the only book I've actually taken the time to read in the last few years, so I definitely want to see the movie.
