That guy is dedicated to his idea, if nothing else. The videos of him getting beat up with bats and crowbars, hit by cars, and thrown down cliffs are a hoot. I somehow doubt he'll get real interestt, but it does provide an interesting example of the dfference between personal and beauracratic inventiveness.

For a mere $2000 I might consider buying one myself.

Can you imagine wearing one of those in a desert environment? You would have sand in places you don't want sand. But, to a costume party... go for it !!
