I believe its a highly intelligent person that wrote this. It sounds like a parody and him purposely making fun of prejudices and "blind jumping on conclusions".
Maybe I'm wrong, but I tend to put it in the cathegory of "satiric comedy".

I love his fixation on the knocking down of trees. Also his teacher has poor handwriting.
