Last night my wife and I where grouped in OT, had a good group going, and we noticed a pally by the name of Boromer in the Council of the Sapphire Dragon shouting he was LFG. We invited him into our group and right off the bat he starts saying weird stuff in the group, nothing rude but talking about "I fotted" over and over. I didn’t think anything of it and then my wife tells me to look at /ooc. Boromer was /oocing and shouting about gays and that they needed their own land or island. This went on for 20 mins or so then he started asking that in the group if we were all of the same mind.

After conferring with the others in the group it was agreed upon to basically boot him out. He then ran off, didn’t see hide nor hair of him for 15-20 mins. He then showed back up while I was pulling with a train of 4 or 5 goons on him and trained us. After the training he then started spouting off in /ooc bragging about it. A /petition and a /report was put in but Boromer logged. Not sure what the GM will do.

I talked to the only officer I could contact today and he replied that Boromer is denying the allegations of the /ooc and training events of the previous day, not by me but 2 other that he trained. Let's get real here, like he was going to say sure I did it and I'm proud of it. What I find funny is the GL or and officer of his last guild was in OT and /ooc'd to the effect that THAT was the reason he had been kicked out of his former guild.

That is totally a contextual distortion of what he said.

He simply missed a coma or 2 so it would obviously be

I'm always interested in the identity theft angle. When yahoo first got started i joined, and gave info to one of those pop up security scams. Next day i found out that my avatar had gone about shouting obscenities in various forums. LOL I wonder if that could happen here? Has this guy done this before?

The sad part is, every time I see that guild name I think "Dragons of Myst." Heh.

If boromer is an alt of Judithe that explains alot. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting him in Velks last night, while farming shawl silks.

He proceeded to fear all the spiders I was killing. When I told him to stop he pulled one onto my druid and Feigned Death on his head.

I took care of it with the ranger I was using and told him to knock it off or he would be petitioned.

I guess he thought he could kill me by training another 5 or 6 spiders on me.

Too bad for him he is a noob and I am not.

Make you wonder about guilds today, most that are starting up take almost anyone. I understand the officer giving his member the benifit of the doudt when 1 person has a complaint, but when more than one contact the officer that guild MIGHT wanna start looking into stuff like this. 1 person can give a guild a bad name

Good point, but sadly ... Licck is related to one of our officers and has been a real life friend of mine for quite some time.

Now if only he'd figure out that you don't sniff the stuff in pixy styx.

Licck or Boromoron?

I to was in that group with Baltyn and Boromer the other night and was one of the unfortunates who got trained by the goons Boromer ran into us because we dropped him. My friend logged the petition against him and after the GM came and went Boromer actually came back to OT for more. He proceeded to stand around and taunt all the members in the new group. Baltyn and his wife logged off before this so they did not get to experience round two of his silliness. Of course no one paid him any mind even though he tried to Kill Steal a few times. He finally left because no one in the whole zone would have anything to do with him. I'm not one bitch either but come on grow up! Someone explain this behavior to me. Is it lack of attention from your parents or what? Anyway I, along with Baltyn and another in our group informed the officer of Boromer's newly acquired guild's actions; they deserve to know what kind of player is carrying their guild name around. It's a shame someone like this can really drag a guild's name through the dirt without their even knowing, not to mention put a damper on the goodwill and spirit of the game. The worse thing is.... that same night Boromer was stripped of one guild and he proceeded to brag about it being his fourth one in a month. He did all of this in ooc and shout (another factor in our decision to oust him from grp). So to me it sounds as if he is intentionally doing this trying to tarnish guilds. My advice, truly screen those who request to be admitted. I know mine does and I'm thankful.

My alt was in the group - Balt came out to rez. I left shortly after he started /ooc ing his lame ramblings. I missed the training of goons but spoke to several people about it. I spoke to his former guild leader last night shortly after he was booted - it doesn't take long for word to spread on someone acting like an ass - I imagine it's going to be pretty tough for him to get into another guild.
