Well, I saw this in a newspaper report on Imation and decided to look into it. I read all the reviews (3 pages worth) and decided it was worth giving it a shot. NOBODY carries it. I ended up ordering it through Amazon, which has it for $13 under the listed price.

This is one "have-to-have" gadget for anyone that likes to watch movies or TV on their computer, because you can download or stream and watch on your regular TV. I was watching some Hulu clips, and a Netflix movie, and am going to go back and watch some of the great YouTube stuff next....all of this on my 65 inch wide screen.

I have read that some folks had problems with choppiness, but I have not; I think that was more due to the power source (battery vs. wall plug). So far my only issue, which I have not looked into yet, is how to make my existing sound system work with it.

Anyway, I am sure I am waaaayyyyy behind everyone here on the technology front, and this might be outdated by now for some, but I just wanted to share that it is making me a happy camper. :D

Holy crap, you just solved a production problem I've been dealing with. So you're not the only one behind the tech curve, if it makes you feel better. But I think you meant $136, not $13...

that's spiffy.

I solved this with a TV that does hulu and netflix natively but this is far cheaper :)

Media Center Extender, Netflix, and Hulu streaming is part of the reason I finally caved and got an Xbox. Media Center Extender is huge if you have media on your computer.

It was $13 under the going price of $149, which meant I got it for $136, yes.

And the Leningrad Cowboys really do look and sound a lot better on the home theater! :)
