Uhmm.. I don't get it? Something to with a sports team not doing too well lately?

Yes Jeopardy, it's referring to the Yankees managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the American League Championship series with the Red Sox last week (mind you, the Yankees won the first three games by an impressive margin, and still managed to lose). I don't watch a lot of baseball, but was at a restaurant last Wednesday night and saw Damon hit his Grand Slam in the second. I looked at the screen and blinked: Wow, 6-0 Red Sox? At that point I decided to settle in to watch a delicious evening of the Yankee$ getting their comeuppance... :)

yankee's were up 3 games (you only need to win 4 to advance) on the boston, and lost 4 in a row to give in to the boston red soxs
