Yeeeeaaah. Nice new scam.

The way to steal found loot as a soldier in a war zone is hide it in a secure location, sweat out the rest of your enlistment, then go back over and start a defense contracting company that uses that loot to pay it's employees locally in cash, while you get paid for them in the states with nice, freshly laundered money.

If you want to do some wholesale looting, pay off a local executive to squirl away equipment parts for local machines/vehicles/construction before the war, and "discover" these caches after the active war ends to use for the local machine parts supply contract.

Don't have either of these options? Then steal cars whose owners have left the country for safety reasons and use/sell them into secure areas where the owners aren't allowed to come in.

...errr...so yeah, this is clearly a scam, because there are so many other better ways to make money in this fashion than spam strangers.
