i watched it at least 10 times, pausing each frame i could a few times. I'm not convinced that SUV didn't hit it, albeit slightly.

/agree with Taleren...
It looked like the SUV bumped him... but he obviously didn't stop.. so....the SUV owner now has a war story to tell over drinks.

I don't think they connected, there was no lateral movement in the SUV.

If he'd connected at all, there would've been at least some visible debris. The road in the intersection is 100% clear after he passes.

It's fake. the camera angle is all wrong for one. notice the lag on the pedestrians for two. also note the lack of cameras on the opposing direction. when they camera an intersection they will do so for all directions and install them so they are looking back across the intersection.

Hmm, I disagree. How is the camera angle all wrong? And the lag of the pedestrians? Aren't they just stopping because a car whizzed by their face? Why did the SUV slam on his breaks?
I guess I just don't see it as fake.

It could have been recomposited from multiple times at the same intersection. The most suspicious parts are the pedestrians and the white sedan that not hit. However the video was too low resolution and sample rate to make a serious call on that. It was a nice "whoa!" moment in any event.

I think it's real. You can even see how the person carrying the white bag stops suddenly as their bag flies a little bit past the front right view of the white van. That would be my reaction too....walking along and then holy shit....I'd stop and whatever I as carrying would probably continue moving forward for a second.
I saw this awhile back and indeed got the whoa factor even after seeing it again I still had to watch it a few times.
