He is in a Mosquito, a very lightly Armoured scout aircraft, he is going up against mostly Reavers, more heavily armoured, and greater firepower, but less maneuverable craft...

While the mosquito is a agile craft, what this guy does is near god-like.

That's some sweet flying - I would LOVE to have whatever computer he is running on! Notice hardly any framerate lag at all during the playback - and PS is not known for being forgiving for lesser systems...

PS isn't that forgiving on high end systems either. I do pretty well, others with equivalent or better computers end up with 10-15 fps in big fights.

I don't play on Anakin's server, but he's well known as a top notch pilot in mosquito or reaver. For ground based as well as aerial carnage, look up some of NVSniper's films. He's an incredible player.

Heres a thing you should do to improve your FPS by quite a bit..
Open your Planetside Directory..
Go to your Machine.ini file
open that..
Find the line that reads "fullres_max_buffer=16"
Change that number to whatever the RAM in your Video card is..
I have a 128 RAM card so my improvement was ultra dramatic.. like +25 FPS.

Anyway, I just got back into PS a few weeks back. Bored of everything else. Oh yeah... isn't the expansion out today?

I have been wanting to try it, but now I'm sure I will have too.

I think Anakin is on Markov...might be Emerald, I forget. Expansion is out today, I think it's server live tomorrow but it's tough to tell with the way today's patch has gone. PS is not unlike EQ when it comes to patches causing problems.

Planetside is a fantastic way to kill an hour or two. Unlike EQ, you can jump in, get up to speed in a few days and not fall too far behind if you take a break.

I need to reinstall it.

I gotta say, those reaver pilots sucked ass though. I was fairly good with a skeeter, but you get 3 or 4 good reaver pilots who could coordinate, and your ass was toast. What really impressed me was his skill picking off guys on that tower.

Reaver pilots are really hit or miss. You have the newbs who just load their training certs who are going for easy kills all the way to the 20/5 veterans who can smoke anything from almost out-of-sight, repair, reload, and have huge kill/death ratios.

The former were probably my favorite targets for Magrider gunning practice.

Johare is lower in population that the other servers, as far as I can tell (SOE removed population indicators from PS like they did from EQ way back), but has a fairly tight community across factions, minus the retards that perpetuate all the servers.

I`ve never played it and even i can tell those enemy pilots are shit.Never the less that guys still a damn good pilot,the way he escapes though the trees is pretty impressive.

My god,downloaded this game for the trail.Ive never lagged so much anywhere :( it was like perma lockup,needless to say i couldn`t really do anything except die.
