An M-14 and a standard 45 would be much more reliable in that sand is the general consensus at the local VFW; both having much more knockdown power than the current weapons with their smaller cartridges.

They fight for themselves because they are Muslim. They fight strictly for a belief right or wrong. They fight for a perception they have of how the world treats them just because they are muslim.

Probably they fight for Al Qaeda in Iraq because Al Qaeda supports them in Chechnya. Plus, if what one of the posters said is even remotely accurate, they fight for money.

Chechens have been confirmed to be fighting in Afghanistan and the Pakistan tribal areas, so it doesn't surprise me in the least they might be found in the current hot spot.
