All politics aside, my condolences to the family and relatives of those who died.

Yeah - what's with this lately??

Well this one is pretty unsurprising it seems. I read that the Iranian airline industries don't get any federal funding from their government, are dealing with a decline in income due to the world financial cituation, and they can't get parts for their planes. Most of what they are flying is either US made planes sold to them before 1979 and we won't sell them parts now due to our sanctions, or Soviet made planes ... and the Soviet Union isn't selling anyone anything right now for obvious reasons.
Don't fly Iranian!

My condolences, perhaps if they spent money on keeping their infrastructure an private airlines current and less $$ on pissing off the world they could avoid such.

I pray for those lost and their families ( no offense meant to those who do not believe ).
