If it could work in the middle east in places like Dubai I dont read many terrost bombs going off on buses. Why not the rest ?
Seems Iran's President is losing his grip. We might see a nuclear event in our lifetimes yet,
Ahmadinejad is driving ahead full throttle in pursuit of nuclear weapons and the establishment of a sister theocratic rule in Iraq. With the backing of the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, his regime has adopted a do-or-die agenda, which makes future sackings and purges inevitable.
The ruling clique fully appreciates the implications of rising anti-regime sentiment at home and growing isolation abroad. They know too that the trend of purge and elimination of the regime’s political body could, sooner or later, bring down the whole regime. That is why they are racing against time to get the A-bomb and dominate Iraq, both crucial to their bid for a second lease on life for their regime.

That website is run by the MEK... they are regarded by 95% of Iranians as traitors, for terrorist acts against Iranians. They are also considered a Terrorist organization by England, and the United States. Good job with your article!

Look at who wrote the article Genius...
By Alireza Jafarzadeh
(born 1957) is an expert on the Middle East, an author, a media commentator, and an active dissident figure to the Iranian government who is best known for revealing the existence of clandestine nuclear facilities in Iran in 2002.
The MEK revealed the Nuclear program.... Put 2 and 2 together.

The nation in this instance is not Iraq but Iran. And Alireza Jafarzadeh, a man who is intimately linked with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (M.E.K.), is—at least in the minds of skeptics—playing a role akin to that performed by Ahmed Chalabi in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq.

Once again you are speaking about matters in which you have very little knowledge of. I would suggest you research a bit more and try to do it without your inherent bias, instead of linking us news from known terrorist organizations, and then we can discuss these issues.

Isnt it great that in America even someone who is a MEK member can get on television and news papers., Its not that what he speaks about is wrong.
I had to read what the MEK was, other than http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEK
It really means http://www.cfr.org/publication/9158/
I thought this kind of cute
During the Iraq war, U.S. forces cracked down on the MEK. About 3,400 people were disarmed at Camp Ashraf, surrendering two thousand tanks, armored personnel carriers, and heavy artillery pieces, according to the 2006 report. Those living at Camp Ashraf are designated as “protected persons” under Article 27 of the Fourth Geneva Convention which prevents extradition or forced repatriation to Iran as long as the United States maintains a presence in Iraq.

Wow Nekko!
Glad you agree that Hamas should be able to say the truth about the occupation and we should have them on newspapers and TV... Doesn't matter how much blood is on their hands, right? Fox News was made for people like you.

Im learning more unless this is propaganda from another terroist orginisation.
Could a more resilient and diplomatically talented Iranian president have brought about a meaningful rapprochement between the United States and Iran?
Hardly!
If anything, a less confrontational posturing by the Iranian government would have emboldened the hardliners, neocons and pro-Israel activists who are in the driver's seat here to exploit any visible cracks in Iran's resolve for a final assault.

I think that capitalism and the rise of a middle class would do wonders for the region. Hell, a rising middle class would do great things for the US, too!

LOL, yeah I'm sure the "Muslims" crime rate would be next to nothing....

To have a middle class, you need to have a tier of skilled/semi-skilled workers producing some kind of product(s) that are desired enough by the masses that their purchase maintains and expands the production, thereby increasing the wage/benefit package of the "middle class tier", putting them above those unskilled laborers but below those highly educated and trained professionals who are usually managing and/or owning the companies.
The lack of an industrial base, or any real resources that might contribute to some form of industry, hampers the development of a strong middle class. The possibility of a service oriented middle class in either country is also diminished with the progress India has made in getting most of those contracts, and somewhat also by the relations between our countries and the current administration. The best bet Iraq and Iran both have for that would be oil/petroleum related products, and infrastructure repair and development.

Dubai has lots of wasteful architecture and pretty islands, but it's no paradise. People still walk around armed with automatic weapons, Westerners are still kidnapped. Just recently a British man was sentenced to 4 years in a Dubai prison for having .0003 grams of weed found on his shoe, which would be invisible to the naked eye. Many countries have warned against traveling through the area.
And then there is the small fact that their entire country is run on a finite source. With very little sustainable revenue, Dubai is going to go to hell in a handbasket when the wells dry up or when we finally move on to a different source of energy.
