I used to fly these missions into Northern Iraq.
The incident in the article occured about a year and a half after I left. Fortunately, no one I knew was on board, but seeing the incident on the news, shook me up pretty badly.
I still have nightmares about flying in a Blackhawk, and it falling out of the sky.
Anyways, I just thought I'd share.
