Today three people in different parts of the country got pink slip notices today. One, my brother who works for a company based out of Seattle, one a friend who works in Jacksonville Fla and my gf who works here in PA.

Anyone else catching wind of lay offs or bad signs?

One thing I've noticed is that when layoffs start happening my business starts to pick up, and its been booming.

what industries are all 3 of them in?

my brother is a field applications engineer (aka technology broker)

my gf is a graphic designer

my friend is a network admin
