This weekend i attended the 60th annual Disabled American Veteran's Department of Texas District V meeting. I have moved up thru the line officers of the Auxiliary ( they just let males join the auxiliary a lil over 3 years ago) and i was elected the Commander of District V which extends from Kerrville-Corpus-El-Paso-Brownsville area it is what would be called South Texas. This is a very big honor as I am the first Male in the Nation to be a District Commander, and I hope to start moving up the State Line this summer. Thank you Vets for your service for if it was not for your sacrifices we would not have the freedom we enjoy now. Also to the Active Duty I appreciate what you do for us every day and you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
