To think the answer to our global energy crisis was found in Everquest!

Oh geeze, anyone else get a chill when they saw that first picture? Between getting lost and jumping off to find the POD, or just falling off when drunk or frustrated, I hated that city!

Geez, I couldn't even remember the name of the city until Kelraz brought it up. Worst city ever; thank goodness for the Plane of Knowledge. I remember trying to figure out which lift would take me to point A or B, or even finding Crushbone!
Looking back at everything, there's still a sense of nostalgia. I remember the times GMs used to do events, no easy Gate, East Commonlands, and no centralized city. Funny how World of Warcraft has pretty much corrected everything wrong about EverQuest yet took out what made those early times so much fun! Although I'm not sure I'd like to relive those times again...
Here's to Kelethin's influence for sustainability!

I remember selling guides in Kelethin. Literally. "Can't find what you're looking for? For 5 plat I'll guide you anywhere in the city".

Not a bad deal either. $100k for a piece of land, unlimited free resources, and a tree house.

All I could think of looking at that tree house and being in a rain forest was SNAKES live in those trees too.

Think of the size of the bugs too.

But there are also snakes that live on the ground (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/02/27/australia.snake.ap/index.html) where we build our houses!

I don't know about you, but I don't live in Australia...

Not to mention the fact that jungle and rainforest temperature/humidity is no pleasant feature. Believe me, I know from experience, lol.
Do those green-freak houses provide ample A/C as well? =)

I'm about to find out. Brand new network coming out in a few months. Been in contact with the owners of the place and hope to shoot a special on it (as well as scuba dive a lot and basically relax on the company dime)
