That line actually came from Moby Dick, but it is one of my favorites anyway.

I remember going to the world premiere of Wrath of Khan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_II:_The_Wrath_of_Khan), when I lived in the LA area. Several of us from the office just went anyway (2 of my co-workers had made part of the fireball effect on Star Trek 1, but didn't get on-screen credits for it), and we went together. Folks had been camping out for weeks to get seats for the first showing, so I dropped the guys off around the corner (about an hour before showtime), got a parking place, and when I got to where the theater was, I stood like an idiot looking for the line. The cashier stuck her arm out through the little hole to wave me over.
"I was looking for the line, I saw it on the news for days," I said.
"They let everyone in early," she said. "The let them several hours ago."

So, in I went, and the lights were on, and it was like a Star Trek convention: people were in costume/drag standing up front by the screen reciting bits from episodes, reciting poetry in Klingon, and doing all sorts of silly things.

When the credits started rolling, when Ricardo Montalban's name appeared on the screen, someone said in a voice like Herve Villechaize (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herv%C3%A9_Villechaize) (Tattoo from Fantasy Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_Island)), "ooh, boss! zee space sheep! zee space sheep!" The audience roared with laughter for several minutes.

Mr Montalban was an entertaining character, he'll be missed.

Funny whenever I think of him I think of Fantasy Island and "Da plane da plane!" but I loved Wrath of Khan too.

Yeah, I was a bit sad when I heard about this. I heard he was wheelchair bound after an issue stemming from a surgery if my "mental trap" memory is accurate.

He was the epitome of machismo, a great host of fantasies, and a supreme villan. Surely, he will be missed...

It just sounded so much classier than "rich Corinthian Naugha-hide". (I still have been unable to find a guide to take me hunting a Naugha.)

Anyway, he and Herve can look down on us now and enjoy their peace.

No I was referring to his role as Mr Rourke, the host of Fantasy Island. Please don't pawn your manhole fantasies off on me, kkthks.

I killed thousands upon thousands of Naga and never once got them drop a hide for my leather working. :(
