As long it was given strong limits such as:
The child in question must be under the age of 13.
The rapist in question must be age 19 or older

we need to consider that just because the consent laws in some places say 17, kids dont suddenly become "sexually aware" at that magic number and that kids as young as 13 (or even younger) do engage in consensual promiscuity.

I strongly recommend to everyone watching the HBO movie "Citizen X", which is about a serial child rapist/murderer in the Soviet Union. Not only is it a fantastic movie, both in directing and acting, but it gives a wonderful display at the end of the perfect sentence for these people.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that after reading the limitstogrowth.com website there are probably quite a few Native Americans, starting from somewhere around the year 1620 through the present day, that would agree with some of the views about the dangers of allowing other cultures to immigrate into their own.

Even if they're technically not killing someone physically by raping them, the emotional trauma for someone sub 17 probably will never really go away, and some rape victims (I'm not going to toss a % out there since I don't really have one) commit suicide after they've been raped as well. In a situation of that nature, I'd say that the death penalty is warranted. A bullet to the head would be a kindness.

Well, I haven't read the book, but I'd say that even that system sounds like it could be flawed depending on where you sit financially/socially/politically. Sort of like now.

She apparently also had appeared on several other major spy trials in a paid witness scenario, and garnered the name "The Spy Queen" or something to that effect. Take that with a grain of salt though, because cold war interpretations are always going to be varied.
