Hey guys. Just wanted to see if any other people/guilds will be killing the general in the near future? A guildmate and myself are ready to take him on, but we are part of a small casual guild, so its rare to find more than a few of us on at once.

Anyhow, if anyone is planning to tackle him, I would certainly appreciate being able to help out and get mine done as well.

As long as you're all 65, you can easily one group him. Friends of mine and I 8 charactered him when we were all 62, and he was pathetically easy. A single healer and an enchanter popping runes on you here and there is plenty to keep the tank up. He's only a 32k hp mob, and will die quite fast.

Yeah, I am only level 52, and most of my guild is between 50-55. I have heard he is easy now with a full group of 65s, I just don't know a full group of people in that level range.

It's more fun to fight it as it was intended anyway. Overpowering old content is novel a couple times, but it's about as much fun as beating up a baby poodle.

If you ask someone high end, I'm sure they'd help you. I was able to do it with just a monk / cleric.

Me and a buddy two boxed the general (four characters total) but it was kinda confusing with all the pulls and what not.... but still fun to own something that cause me and 20 guild mates death after death years ago....

My alt is just about ready to do it. What I'm going to do when he's ready is a few " /who all rogue 50 60" searches & find other people who are ready to do theirs. I could just about get a group of lvl 65's together to take him, but it would depend on them all being avalable at the same time. I figure there will be a few people around in a similar place, so we can get together a decent force to kill him fairly quickly a few times.

You'll probably have yours done by the time I have Faffin levelled to 51 though.
