I'm not really a Ravens fan but covering all the games, the hatred for the Colts is quite contageous. I was hoping for Chicago from the kickoff and 14 seconds in I thought it was definately gonna go that way. That being said, I would have hated for Peyton to go the way of Dan Marino and I'm glad he can say that in addition to his lucrative television commercial career (hehe) he can also throw the football decently.
The game was a bit boring, but a satisfying outcome even though the team I was rooting for didn't win.
Thoughts on the game? Favorite commercial?

the careerbuilders.com ones had me laughing

The BudLight rock paper scissors one had a special meaning. We've been doing that at work to see who has to go to these dumb conversion meetings for this huge project underway. None of us want to go so our boss makes us do rock paper scissors in the hall. The first thing he said this morning was... "hey Unix group, did you guys watch the game? What about the commercials?" We all laughed, I told him not to worry we'd not hit each other with rocks we'd just throw them at him.
Other than that I thought the Ford ones were cool and the Doritos one where the chick fell on her face getting to the car was funny.
I was rooting for Chicago, it sucked they lost. The game was good until the second quarter then it got boring :(

I loved the Blockbuster one. "Don't even think about plugging me in!" The rock paper scissors one was pretty good too. "I put up paper..."
Glad that the Pats won though, always broke my heart to see them get really far in the playoffs only to choke right near the end.

LOL .. anyone else noticed that Blockbuster is now trying to be just like NetFlix.. I guess they seen that they were getting thier ass handed to them and about to get put out of the running by a **newbie** company. I wonder how long they will last.. I give it till about the end of the year.. or mid next,, I'll put 1k vcash on it :D

Meh. They had to expand into the market otherwise they would be put out of business. I think Blockbuster will still be in business though, based on the fact that they still have physical stores that you can go to whereas with Netflix, as far as I know, there is no such thing. I know quite a few people go to Blockbuster/Hollywood Video around here simply because of the used DVD/VHS sections being such great deals.
