We're thinking like a banquet hall at a hotel or something and a suite to party in, and try and get everyone to pitch in 20 bucks because then it'll be a really awesome time. Because after this last get together we realized that just about everyone that went to this one was really cool and like hang out, and we'd like to encourage a larger yet more social and party atmosphere, except for Tiberian who will drink nothing but Sharp's or Odouls.

ok I got the prices from Norfolk, it doesn't seem too bad, the rooms are free as long as we order enough shit off the menu's to make up for a certain price per head there. Since I'm expecting maybe 70-100 heads, and if we want dinner (which we probably will) it'll be about $33 per head for the rooms to be free and the Disneyland hotel (there is another more expensive hotel, will consider it) That'll mean we'll need about anywhere from $2310-$3300 as our bill...up to you guys if you think we can pull that off no problem then I'll call the guy when he gets back from vacation and make reservations. The other hotel available is newer and more expensive, with dinner it was like $44 a head if i remember correctly. So tell me what you guys think, and i'm going to start cracking down on the list, going to need to know for sures and not for sures within the next few months so i can make proper reservations.

i don't think i'm down for all 4 days. i live in the LA area and would show for a specific event, possibly. i also might be in new york the last weekend of june. so, maybe is the best i can commit to. :)

So many old names I know in that list to come! Geez been awhile since I played but I played for a few years with many of you hehe... I know I can make it on a Friday or Saturday for sure, but I work Sundays so that is the suck.

Unsure about myself right now. Im in the process of getting my residence permit for Sweden. SO, if that comes through in the near future, like im thinking it will be. I will be on a plane to Stockholm. If it takes considerably longer then I think....plane to LA for me! Will know more as soon as the date of the get together creeps closer.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT, MAKE SURE TO TELL ANYONE YOU CAN THATS GOING:

The get together is NOT, I repeat, NOT going to be taking place at the Disneyland Hotel. The prices are outrages for the things they give you, and on top of all of that they require the money in advance. The get together's date is staying the same, however, its going to be moved to a different location. Still in Downtown Disney, its going to be at the restaurant there called Tortilla Jo's. Mexican Restaurant, I'm currently doing the finishing touches on the reservations and pricing, I will post as I get more information.

mexican??? lame. hehe. oh well. at least i won't have to pay a ton to see someone that lives down the street from me i guess. blee! oh the laziness!!!

From the looks of the list its about 40ish people or so heading. I called Chilis in Orange, we'll be heading there. The reservations will be made for about 6 o'clock, the address is: 1411 W. Katella. The phone # is (714)771-4071 if you have any questions. I have to call them friday about 30 min before we decide to head over there and they will put us on the waiting list, thats it folks, I will see you all there hopefully.

Jihan, we'll be there starting at about 6-6:30 and we'll be staying there for a couple hours probably...you should still try and make it. Marz, its about 50 min drive with no traffic from my house which is where the Acapulco is, i got that estimate from mapquest.

not too bad a time! only party fouls were beers spilled in my room. there was also a mystery sock that turned out to not be my roommate's after all... and someone left a bottle of gel in the bathroom. my camera's batteries died during the party.. so there won't be much for pictures. it was nice to meet you people, and i hope to see some of you in game once i get back on! thanks karl for being insane and planning this kind of shit.
