If you see a large water tank with sharks swimming in it, and you jump into that tank and are menaced by the sharks, you should be able to expect others to look for a way to help you get away from the sharks, but you should not be expecting others to jump in to save you.

This is how I see the situation with most of the hostages taken. While I would not want to see any harm befall this woman journalist, I am also aware that she put herself into the situation in which she finds herself and therefore is the only one to blame, other than the freaks that grabbed her.

I am fairly certain that all goes with out saying. I have friends who took civilian jobs in Iraq over the last three years and they agree. Its for the glory and money, of course this doesn't apply to those in the military but civilian contractors who do it for $$$$$ or journalists looking to make name for themselves. The whole thing stinks but the writting is on the wall..your all alone in a horrible place.
