I hope he had a beacon in his electronic package to warn low flying aircraft of his presence.
I am very intrigued by this story as it is a very, very low cost means of flying. No pilots license, fuel, expensive aircraft, ect. Apart from landing the contraption it even looks safe considering you tied your knots right and packed your chute correctly.
Look for more loonies in lawn chairs in your airspaces in the near future as I am sure this will catch on.
