Lesser Paul died at 94 this week. He helped make many hit records with his wife in the 50's and was the father of the modern electric guitar.
A thing of beauty. 59 Les Paul Sunburst.

He also was behind the idea of using reverb on a guitar, and of overlaying multiple tracks when recording. He was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A true giant in the world of music, and he was still playing once a week at a New York club up until his health started failing a couple months back.

Hard to quantify this mans life in words alone.
