Since I'm at work, I can't take the time to actually sit and watch the full coverage of the reading of the names of the 9/11 victims.
I was able to spend 10 minutes watching the coverage. One of the things that struck me about the victims was the cross section of people that were killed on that day.
White, black, hispanic, asian, men, women, children, gay, straight, bisexual, salaried, commissioned, hourly paid, US citizen, UK citizen, Mexican, Indian, Canadien, French, Italian, German, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Nigerian; I'm sure I missed a few.
My point is this: everyone was attacked that day. The terrorists made no discrimination in who they killed, regardless of the "message" being sent, or who it was supposedly sent against.
