My roommate and I have been playign Phantasy Star Universe Online for a while now on the PC / PS2 servers and next month sega us shutting the server down :( With that going to happen we need to find another chill back game we can play and kill time with thats along the same line as it.
Anyooe have any suggestions for a game?

Well of course it has to be asked since they are still some of the best: have you played World of Warcraft or Everquest2? EQ2 has a new expansion coming out any day now (Odus) increasing the level cap and stuff so you wouldn't be behind much if at all. Prism from Ayonae Ro is on the Everfrost server.
On top of that Star Trek Online just came out, though I haven't played it.

You probably won't believe me, but good old EQ on the 51/50 server has now gotten to the point that any casual can play up to the top without much problem. I can hardly believe it myself, but with the current state of poisons, alchemy, mercs, armor drops, and high end game...The game finally fixed everything I'd ever complained about it.

WOW has gotten way casual friendly as well. the new cross server looking for dungeon tool has made instances very quick and the quest helper they added makes it much less of a grind than it used to be.

Or a prelude to Surrogates. I'm intrigued and frightened by this. Read the company's website, it sounds like part of their eventual vision is that you could hire someone to do a special job for you, and then review the footage later to make sure they didn't cheat you.

Not sure I buy it. Seems like that would violate all kinds of laws.

As my signature now shows, I've started playing Billy vs Snakeman. It's more amusing if you've watched Naruto.
