Tomorrow, tickets will go on sale for the following special engagements playing at the AMC Block at Orange:
Dec 5-11 Fellowship of the Rings (Special Extended Version)
Dec 12-15 The Two Towers (Special Extended Version)
On Tuesday December 16th: There will be a 1 time only Marathon which will include the two mentioned about (yes, both extended versions) followed by the first screenings of Return of the King. For any of you psychotic enough to sit through both extended shows and watch the Return of the King after that...around 10 hours in a movie theater!?
Just an FYI since I just got this information myself and thought I'd share the heads up with those in the area.

How'd you hear about this? I'm assuming this will happen in Chicagoland. And baby, I'm there. These movies on the big screen are still worth the price of admission.

My first date was at the Block of Orange. We saw the Matrix and made out till she thought the movie was kinda interesting and then stopped. I just wanted to make out. Fuck Neo and Smith for ruining it.

Same here. I remembered the people at the block would check your ID's to make sure you were like at least 16 or so to go see it.

Blair Witch Project was such a lame rip off of House of Leaves (the concept anyways) (add that to your reading list if you havent already read it).

As sad as it's going to seem, I can't wait to beable to watch all three movies on DVD, back-to-back.
9 pure hours of juicy Tolkienage.
It's a word. Yeah.

I've wanted to read that for a while. However I think it might be hard for Blair Witch to be a rip off of it since that book came out after the movie.
