I'll go ahead and run this, even though all indicators seem to agree who it's going to be. Odds set accordingly.

Claire has barely been mentioned this season. We have seen more of Charlie with the baby than Claire with the baby. My bet is she dies leaving Charlie with the baby and as much heroin as he can snort. That would make for great TV.

I think it will be claire, thus leaving he baby with charlie, and i think shannon will get involved.

Ya same here...still a little indifferent over how it all went down but oh well.

I was a bit miffed though that she got shot by Anna. Now it's just going to cause a rift between the two tribes.

I was thinking for a little bit that Sawyer was going down and that would of won me some points damn it!

I was a little worried about the 500 vcash I had hanging in the balance when he was all gimpy in the middle. The whole time, I was thinking how just like them it would've been to spread the false info about Shannon dying just to screw with everyone.

When they made the stretcher I knew I was home free.

Now I'm stuck wondering about Walt. I've heard that maybe hallucinations are part of being sick, and since Sayid also saw Walt, I'm wondering if that's true. If somehow it IS Walt (don't see how it could be the way he disappears), then he intentionally brought about the death of Shannon. Have the Others corrupted him, or whatever it is they do with the people they "claim"?

Also, Sayid looked MURDEROUS at the end of that episode. In light of his "I keep my gun because I have someone to protect now" speech, AND the fact that he has a gun. That should be a fun few minutes next time.

Wonder if other would have paid off too.. there was one of the folks from the other crash site that "vanished" when they were moving the stretcher up the mountainside. True, can't know that she'd dead, but Shannon isn't buried yet either.

Played in reverse, Walt said "they're near" or something like that. It seemed more like he was trying to warn Shannon/Sayid to be careful. I've seen a lot of people speculate about it being the real Walt, but I don't think that makes any sense with him still speaking in reverse.

I'm pretty sure Shannon's dead. Sayid would've been focused on getting her help, instead of sizing up Ana-Lucia's fingernails for some bamboo.

One very possible twist would be Rousseau or the "others" having actually shot her. We might start the episode after next with Ana showing that she's still got the single round left unspent. Or, next episode might end with a more revealing perspective of the shooting. I just hope they don't revisit as many times as the stupid Desmond confrontation.

I think Sayid will go next...I am gonna follow the theory that if you see Walt, you are done for

There has been speculation that Walt has been able to project himself somehow. Walt has some powers that the island has brought on. For example the Polor Bear showed up while Walt was reading the comic book with a polar bear in it. Also when the dog was lost Michael told Walt they would look for him when it stopped raining and boom it stopped. Not to mention the fact that when he saw the hatch that Locke was trying to dig around he freaked out. He just never projected himself until he got 'taken' because there wasn't anyone on the island he needed to project to. Just another theory in the mix of MANY.

Good lord, trying to pick up this show part way into the second season is madness.

The writers are obviously indulging themselves in some creative...smoke.

It should be easier tonight. They are going to flash back and tell the story of the 'tallies' (people from the tail section from the crash, and what they went through from the start. I hope they don't try and stretch out that story line until the end of the season. It would be like watching Star Wars episodes 1-3. You know Obi, Anni, Padme and others don't die, kinda takes the suspense out of it, even though they were good.

I don't know if we are going to see anything tonight about the fall out from Shannon getting shot. They also said this was going to be an extended episode. But I wonder how they are going to accomplish that starting the show at 8 with Invasion advertising that they are going to be starting at 9.

Maybe I should start watching this series.
