I live across the street from a Army and National Guard base, which is located just off of VA land.

There has been for the last 3 hours tons of activity. Helicopters landing and taking off, and so much movement inside. I have not seen anything like this the year I have lived in this area.

I wonder if this is Libya related???

Anyone heard anything?

The Black Watch are on standby in Britain to be deployed asap, especially if the no-fly zone goes ahead which is being drafted by Britain and France for the UN.

Lots of tension and anxiety over here at the moment.

When I say major activity... I mean I was walking the dogs across the street and being blown away by massive helicopters that were about 50 feet away in a constant flow of landing and taking off... Hummers racing around inside the base at a time when there would usually be not a sound from them. It was quite impressive.

Remember "The Surge"? Yeah they were all in country for a few months before it hit the news. Just saying... We have this thing we like to call OPSEC sometimes we actually manage to get away with maintaining it.
