Or Superbad. That movie had momets of both sheer brilliance, and sheer stupidity. I put it in the "Napoleon Dynamite" category.

No, that "honor" goes to Sandra Bullock's debut movie, "Hangmen", which would probably have never seen release even in the rental market if she had not gotten such a strong reaction in "Speed". She only has a small role in the movie, so it's absolute lack of everything that makes a movie watchable cannot be blamed on her. Still, the rental gives her top billing, hehe; anything to sucker in someone bored, with no plans for the evening other than to sit and watch something new.
