Anyone played it yet or hear anything about how good or bad it is, i remember the idea seemed cool for something to play when servers wernt up

Playhed beta for a couple days.... Three words.. City of Heroes.


Exact same feel to it.

CoH was fun - a LOT of fun (for me, anyway) for about a month.

I read they're having a really rough start with exploits and how they've chosen to handle them.

It's kind of ironic, since wouldn't you think a game like Matrix Online should allow exploits?

Played in Beta, and was glad to wipe it off my hard drive. Just no sense of content or purpose in the game, worse than SWG was when it came out. The movies kinda sucked up all the good action, there isn't much left for a game like this. And if I had to meet one more Neo-wannabe....

Just one of many things: There was a way to get exp really, really fast, which wasn't an exploit. Just a design mistake. Lots of people used it to get to the max level.

So they killed it, and nerfed exp gain rate in the whole game. Sucks for anyone that didn't take advantage of the bug.

Can you imagine all the l33t-speaking B-net kids that play that game?

One of my friends was in the beta, I saw it and wasn't impressed...something was missing and I can't put my finger on it.

And yet another chapter further burying the greatness of the first movie in a big, deep, pile of steaming poo.

the fact you play rock paper scissors to do combat made me delete it. I am not exageratting btw.

agreed, I didnt like how the fighting was set up... I really didnt beleive this game had much hope in it anyways.... Lord of the RIngs online on the other hand....
