He really does seem like a nice guy... very good humor.

I really adore him as a person, he's been one of the best politicians I've ever worked with. He's just as genuine in person as you see on camera.

Al Gore and Kerry were absolutely horrible to their staff and folks off camera. Bush always comes accross very different in person than on air, but McCain is as genuine as they come.

We did one shoot with him outside in August and it was blazing hot. When we shoot outside we have to use really strong lights to make the sun look darker, so we had to also blast him with a few HMIs. Under these conditions even the most seasoned reporters would have been extremely uncomfortable, and we were appologizing when he said "just do what you guys need to do - I don't mind" and later that day he even sent his staff to buy us lunch.

I wish I saw eye to eye with him in the political arena, but other than that no complaints.
