I think we've all heard McCain tought Meg Whitman of eBay as being one of his supporters and on his team. He often introduces her or drops her name as Meg Whitman founder of eBay.

Much like today he introduced her at a conference of his economic advisors as the person who founded eBay with 5 employeees...well this is incorrect. Whitman joined eBay three years after it was founded by Pierre Omidyar a french born of Iranian descent.

Moral of the story...research...reasearch!

Listening to McCain speech atm, and it is funny listening to him talk about how Obama will redistribute people's money; seems to me that is exactly what has been going on, except they have been taking taxes to give breaks to the wealthy in the hopes of creating jobs, which does not happen, except for those overseas.

He really struggles when in front of crowds.

I think he really struggles because he knows the line of bullshit he's spinning.

Senator Obama's supporters have been saying some pretty nasty things about western PA. I couldn't agree with them more. I couldn't disagree with you less. I couldn't agree with you more. I....oh shit I ran out of appendages to shoot off.....

I'm pretty sure eBay was well on its way to the top when Pierre brought Meg in, and I know it was already sliding when Meg left. Arguably, Pierre deserves much of the credit for eBay's success while much of their lost ground to Amazon occurred under Meg's watch.

That is a good and accurate summation.
