I don't see any point holding this guy against McCain any more than we should hold Wright against Obama.

Paul has a good ideas for the economy. I love with his immigration plan since that is obviously my big thing. decent Foreign policy.. although I would tweak it. Fair Tax.. stuff like that. Maybe We can get a Paul/Ventura ticket..

Ron Paul was, the most truly conservative candidate in the primaries. Don't confuse religious fundamentalism with conservatism. Not the same.

He is certainly far more a conservative Republican than this nutjob advocating the eradication of Islam, and/or anyone connected to him.

Ron Paul is most likely one of the few remaining old school conservatives left, with the Republican Party starting it's drift away from the old core principles (the Goldwater Republicans, if you will) with the election of Nixon.
