Though, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until Fox spins that as "Nigerian Terrorists Endorse Hussein.. err Obama."

Nice bit of info there. But I think Fox might wait for the general election and try to tie Obama in as an eco-terrorist, or accuse him of secretly bartering for the nation's energy and making numerous "implications" regarding what he is bartering away for the oil.
For those of you who invest in oil we don't want to hear this.... I have a large portion of my retirement stuff in hard assets and oil, well that and large amount in over seas stuff..... the oil stuff is the lone bright spot.... if Obama screws that up I'm gunna be pissed!

Yeah because, you know, your retirement is more important than the US economy...

You are evil for recognizing a growth sector, and investing in it, Bise.
You should want to give your money away to your fellow man, comrade....

That's not what I said or meant at all. Point being, Obama is trying to accomplish something that helps the US, and someone posts that Obama would somehow be screwing something up by helping to stabilize oil prices.
The price of oil skyrocketting isn't a 'bright spot' to the economy of our entire country. It's not about the little man, it's not about socialism, it's not about any other asinine comparison you are going to try to make with my comments Sixee.
But you know, talking and dialog can't help resolve a situation. We just need to blow them up and steal their oil, amirite???!!!

Taleren, I really didn't think that's what you meant, but can you look back at what you wrote, and see where I got that?
Incidentally, anything anyone does on any subject will have repercussions, both good and bad.
If he helps stabilize prices, who's to say some OPEC nation won't decide that getting rid of the President of the United States isn't such a farfetched idea? It could be done,
all under the guise of "OMFG, we elected a Black President, SHOOT'EM!"
Yeah, we are blowing up Venezuela and Cuba and taking their oil, even as we speak....

Never invest money that you can't afford to lose!
