Message Board help.

I want to start a message board for my Fraternity. Now I've kinda been looking around and want to do something that's pretty much free, and easy to use. The only problem is that I have no clue on how to set it up, seeing as how I am retarded when it comes to things like that, if anyone can help or has any advice, please let me know. So far I think phpBB and Invision power boards look pretty good and that the kinda of look I want. Any help is appreciated in setting one up.

I just use PHPNuke on my page, which is bundled with phpBB.
