I can't believe what a lying liberal this guy is. Searching the internet I found many articles that showed all of the lying, faking, and taking quotes out of context that he does.

Heres is a link to one of them that covers pretty much everything. www.bowlingfortruth.com (http://www.bowlingfortruth.com)

'Indeed, there's more, a lot more, to this story. In an interview, Jan Jacobson, the woman at this bank shown in the movie, says they were filmed for about an hour-and-a-half during which she explained everything to Moore in detail'

- I'm confused. The programme could still allow you to get a gun if you signed up for an account, right?
Oh noz, michael moore made it sound even easier?!?! The lying scum-bag.

And how many weapons from that "program" at the bank were actually used in crimes?

Moore is just another candy ass person who pisses himself at the thought of guns.

It just shows one of his little tricks. Haloface, once again you look at one thing out of everything on that whole entire website and expand on that. You are almost as bad as him when trying to prove your point.

I like the part about how people in Canada don't need to lock their doors; he goes up and a couple random houses and opens the door to prove his point (yeah lol like these aren't set up in advance or anything)....if he ever did that to my house I would shoot his fucking ass for comming in my house without my permission.

I read the first 5 things, that site isnt very well written at all. Too many flaws in the arguments he puts forward, will read the rest sometime to see if it improves...

What, people actually lock their doors? I never do. How would I get back inside when I get home too drunk to remember which key opens it? :(

Hell, I almost never even lock my car doors anywhere I go, and I live in Atlanta. The only time I had any trouble was someone ripping the stereo out of it, and it was locked that time. Go figure.

Checked two doors.. ..I'm actually a fan of Moore. I enjoy his style of comedy. I find him amusing. I'm not entirely sure I agree with his entire political agenda (ok, I don't agree with his entire agenda, that'd be a little absurd), but I do enjoy watching him point out other people's double-talk, and I'm willing to overlook his while he does it.

It's entertainment with a message. Let the message be thought provoking. Don't blindly disagree with it, or blindly agree with it. Just... ...think about it. Most of the message I took from "Bowling" was the "Nation of Fear" commentary at the end: Find out what thing in your house could kill you and your children! Tonight at 10!

Anyway, we've hashed the Moore=Fabricator of Falsehoods thing before. It's old news. I'm looking forward to Fahrenheit 9/11. Still not out in the pirate world: www.vcdquality.com/index.php (http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php) but I'll probably get a screener copy. Note to self, call my academy buddy.

In terms of unabashed punidtry, Moore is a lot funnier and more intelligent than his conservative counterparts, but his work is still entirely editorial. I disagree with a lot of Moore's positions, however his films are usually hilarious and even if you don't like his conclusions, he brings up a lot of interesting issues. (the culture of fear, and the militarization of our government, the social environment that creates, the idea of the president as the worst possible role model, etc).

Can't quite fathom why anyone would ever look at it as a seriously, scholarly examination of anything.

Thing is, would he be much more than a fly by night Producer if his work was rated on it's actuals?

I'll be go to hell if I understand why it's called Documentery. It lends it creds when no credibility is injected.

I'll agree, he's more or less a windbag, and it's not exactly documentary... but it's not exactly comedy, either. It appeals to a different group of people, or perhaps a different mood, than conventional documentaries and conventional comedies do.

Mike Moore is just another form of clown. Entertaining to a point, as long as you are not encumbered by a desire for truth.
In the "Bowling" film he even missed the most basic fact. Motive. He wasn't even close.
I won't be watching anymore of his films. Saves me from the aftermath where I wish I hadn't wasted my time.

However I want him to continue making these films. It fills a void in entertainment between Al Franken and Crusty the Clown.

Holy shit.

After reading that site again, I realized it was made by Richard Bushnell. The crazy dude was a class ahead of me in highschool, insanity.
