Great new's. I was bracing for another bad ending on this one. he's a lucky little devil :)

The news early on was that he ate all the granola bars the rescuers had with them, and was dehydrated, but after some water and food all he wanted to do was play a video game on one of the rescuers cell phones.

But, when they showed video of him being taken from the ambulance on the stretcher (normal procedure to check his condition) he looked actually hostile when his father (assumption) bent to kiss him on the head.

I guess I am still wondering what the motivation for his taking a walk was, in the first place. Yes, I am a cynic.

Hey, if he can't find his way back to camp he shouldn't be in scouts. Punt his ass out!! ;)

According to local news here in Utah he wasn't a scout. But instead was up on the camping trip as a friend of a scout.

Which is being used to put the cost on the parents for the Search and Rescue efforts...
