The thing I like about Sanchek's site is the two examples they chose to put on their front page: a "lovable psycho" and a girl who "likes to have fun" (No way! Me too!). The cream of the crop, ladies and gentlemen!

I don't seem to understand whats scary about it.

"Gamers" make up a significant population, only natural some services start cateering to that segment.

It's a specialty dating site, it's no different to other specialty dating sites other than it's for MMORPG gamers.

More power to people who use it I say, no harm can really come from it if the people who get involved are smart enough to smell a scam/scumbag from a mile away, and that goes for all online dating in general.

It's a site full of anti-social types looking for social interaction, without actually going outside to find it. It's bound to have some pretty hilarious results.

Scanning through the profiles comes up with some pretty sad quotes.

I just wasn't sure why a game-related dating site was any more hilarious then a athletic or music related one.
Especially being laughed at on *gaming* sites.

Some of the results are definetly..commedical...but the concept itself doesn't burst out in my face.

Im going to go register as a sex toy for all the deprived female nerds.
