Religious nuts, one more thing to be embarrassed by the bush administration. Embarrassing, at least to the 80% sane part of the country.

The sad part is, it's that 20% that makes up 80% of all the problems.

Hmm, I thought this was a thread about Michelle Bachman.

I would not be at all surprised to see Ms. Rowling honored yet, as she did more to get kids reading than almost any other media than Sesame Street over the past decade (and she probably reached more kids than that show did too). Kids are able to separate reality and fantasy much better than some parents, it seems; and scarily, much better than some in the previous administration.

But reading is education which creates someone with intellectual abilities which are frowned upon by the modern republican party and its members.

Baby jesus didnt read!, why should my childrun? Wasnt Stalin educated? see he wrote a book too. damn NAZI's always wrighting books trying to indoctrinate our children into thier Maoist ways!

Good American heroes like Michelle Bachman would never be caught dead trying to write any books! she fights for American values the old fashioned way. on cable news shows.
