I recently shipped my computer system up to school and the dolts at UPS decided not to package my LCD monitor power cord with the bundle. I've since purchased another monitor, but I would like to buy a standalone cord so I can return this. My monitor is a LG Flatron L1932TQ-BF which uses a power source of 'AC 100-240v -50/60Hz 1.0A'. I've scoured the interwebs to try to find a site that would sell me one, but to no avail. If anyone could help me I would be eternally grateful, and a couple hundred dollars richer. Thanks!

P.S. Everyone website I've found simply does not list Dell or LG monitor products. If there's a way to custom design a cord to fit those parameters that someone could explain to me that would rock as well! :D

It doesn't use the standard AC power cable, same as what you plug into the power supply of your computer?

Some LCDs have the power converter outside of the monitor casing, decresing the size and weight of the monitor itself. The AC power cable you're talking about, Sanchek, typically will plug into an external converter which will then have a smaller cable that will go to the monitor.

Yeah, I've seen those, but the specs for that model he mentioned don't specify an adapter. So, I had to ask.

If you can have someone at home look at the power supply, it probably has its output voltage, amperage, and wattage specified on the brick somewhere. With that, you can buy a generic replacement pretty easily.

If not, check the manuals for your monitor and see if they give that info anywhere. They often do.

Note: This is not the 110v info you posted originally. It's probably in the range of DC 12v to 18v somewhere.
