So my mouse is broken and I'm trying to log in but I can't hit play on the patcher screen. I think theres a way to change something to make it switch to auto-play by using the keyboard but I don't know how. Anyone have any idea's?

tab doesn't work

you can use EQwin to bypass the patcher. However, when you get to the EULA page, I'm not sure if you can get past that without using a mouse.

Why not just go buy a new one, they are cheap :)

Yeah, it'd suck memming spells without a mouse. If you need to swap in a song that's not in one of your presets, I don't even think you can do it.

Won't be able to loot or buy/sell/trade or quest either.

True most times you kill stuff and run around and chat without a mouse... I don't even have my hand on it 90% of the time I'm playing actually.

But some stuff in EQ just can not be done with only the keyboard.

edit: err, "with only" the keyboard

Just run EQGAME.EXE, it bypasses the patcher.

Alt-P chooses "play."
Tab switches to accept instead of decline.
Enter and Tab for station-name and password.
ESC will cancel the "Preorder" screen.
Enter selects play on your default server.

I know you got a mouse, but...
