Greets,

I have Window XP English version built in my computer and I just downloaded a MP3 downloader from Taiwan Website and I paid for Month fees etc.

I have Traditional Chinese installed in my computer so I can read Chinese on website and stuff. Now I can see stuff on the Chinese MP3 Downloader and everything but when I clicked on the Artist's name and Song Title and do a search for it then a bunch of results would com up BUT not in Chinese and in stead its a series weird symbols.

I am wondering why I couldnt read the MP3 files names and download the songs I want but I can read everything else on the MP3 downloader.

I have to know the MP3 file name to click on and download cuz if not I am not even sure what to click on due to series codes.

It doesnt make sense that I can read everything but the file name. Its frustrating and I just paid for the fees for 6 months.

Now what do I have to do? Get Window XP Chinese Version or what? :( I thought I installed the Language package was enough.

If you have any idea please help me out. Thanks a lot.

Not sure if this will work, but give it a try:

Go into your Control Panel and Regional/Language Options.
Click on the Advanced Tab, and change the language for non-unicode programs to one of the Chinese languages.

Reboot, then see if that works.

It would not work. I didnt try it but I knew it wouldnt work that way.

I guess I am just using my laptop for that shit, which is fine because my laptop is l337. :)

Thanks for trying to help though. :)

Not sure about the source of your MP3s, but I get all sorts of ``kiddy'' high ASCII writing in my MP3s all the time. For example: Euro symbol instead of E, $ instead of S, etc. Really damn anonying and rampant all over ed2k and WinMX.

Could it be something that simple? :)
